Your physician
Dr. HopeIjaola
MD, MACP · Board Certified, Internal Medicine
Founder and Medical Director of Mercy Grace Aesthetics. A physician who believes the best care starts with the truth, and that you should never feel sold to in a doctor's office.

Care, the way it should be
Dr. Ijaola built Mercy Grace around a standard she holds without exception: recommend only what she would choose for the people she loves. That sounds simple. In practice it changes everything, because it means every plan starts from your goals and your health, not from a menu she is trying to move.
She is a physician first. Whether you come in for a neuromodulator, a weight plan, or contouring, the conversation begins with what is actually going on and what will actually help. You will leave understanding your options, including the option to wait.
One standard, everywhere she works
Aesthetics, everyday health, and skincare, under one philosophy
Dr. Ijaola's work runs across three places that share the same unhurried, honest approach. Mercy Grace Aesthetics for how you look and feel, primary care through MDVIP for your whole-person health, and Doctor Hopiola, her skincare line, for the days in between.
Background
Physician, founder, formulator
Dr. Ijaola is a board-certified internist who has practiced in the Greater Phoenix area since 2008, after caring for patients across the world, including West Africa and the Caribbean. She established her Mercy Grace practice in 2011, and today also cares for patients as an internist with MDVIP, where a smaller practice means more time with each person.
She completed her Internal Medicine residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, affiliated with the State University of New York, Downstate Medical School, where she served as an Associate Chief Resident. She is an active member of the American College of Physicians, has presented academic papers at the organization's Regional Conference, and is affiliated with the International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine.
Her work sits at the intersection of medicine, aesthetics, and evidence-based natural formulation. It grew from a gap she kept seeing in practice: patients who could not consistently tolerate conventional active ingredients because of irritation and barrier disruption. That led her to advanced training in organic skincare formulation and cosmetic science, and to founding Doctor Hopiola, her physician-formulated skincare line built around botanicals, barrier health, and multifunctional ingredients that support the skin over time.
Outside the practice, she sings in her church choir and travels whenever she can.
